Two Bangladeshi smugglers were killed on the Indo-Bangladesh border in an encounter with Indian security forces in West Bengal's Cooch Behar district. According to the Indian Border Security Force (BSF), around 3 am on Friday, smugglers attacked a BSF party trying to stop them while entering the Indian territory, injuring a jawan. Two smugglers have also been killed in the shootout. The miscreants who came from Bangladesh were trying to smuggle cattle.

West Bengal के Cooch Behar district. में भारतीय सुरक्षा बलों के साथ मुठभेड़ में Indo-Bangladesh border पर दो Bangladeshi smugglers की मौत हो गई। Indian Border Security Force (BSF), (बीएसएफ) के मुताबिक शुक्रवार की सुबह करीब 3 बजे तस्करों ने भारतीय सीमा में प्रवेश करते समय उन्हें रोकने की कोशिश कर रहे बीएसएफ पार्टी पर हमला किया, जिससे एक जवान भी घायल हो गया। गोलीबारी में दो तस्कर भी मारे गए हैं। बांग्लादेश की ओर से आए बदमाशों मवेशियों की तस्करी करने की कोशिश कर रहे थे।
