Today, theaters got to see Pinoy moviegoers again after over a year of cinema closure due to the pandemic.

Movie exhibitors in the country say they lost ₱21 billion in ticket sales. They are now trying to recover with the official reopening of some cinemas as restrictions eased in Metro Manila.
