Khalid Samad (Harapan-Shah Alam) has slammed the federal government for pushing race and religious rhetoric instead of focusing on good governance.

“How many Malays have moved from Selangor to Kelantan or Terengganu for apparently being so Islamic? Or moving to Malacca or Johor which are under Umno’s control?

“If there are more of them moving away from those states to Selangor than those moving from Selangor to those states, I rest my case,” he said during the debate on Budget 2022 in Parliament today.
