Senator Sonny Angara, chair of the Senate committee on finance, said on Tuesday, November 9, that the upper chamber slashed the proposed budget of President Rodrigo Duterte’s controversial anti-insurgency task force by P24 billion. NTF-ELCAC is now left with just about P4 billion in 2022.
