Australian study finds majority of respondent have lingering symptoms

The first Australian study to examine the long-term impacts of covid specifically in people who have been in intensive care has found that 70 per cent of respondents have persistent symptoms 6 months after they were hospitalised. Health authorities are looking at strategies to help people cope with the lingering effects, as well as the extra strain on the healthcare system.
