British families head for the US as borders reopen

Families across Europe are preparing to reunite with loved ones in the US as the country reopens its borders to fully vaccinated non-citizens on Monday. David and Alison Henry are two of many travellers, whose bags are packed and they’re ready to fly. They’ll travel to New York to see their son, Liam, who they haven’t seen in person since 2019.
