BJP ruled states have reduced VAT from petrol diesel and it has put pressure on non-BJP ruled states. Now in Punjab also the prices of petrol and diesel have been reduced. Be it the pressure of the opposition, the effect of BJP, or the tension of elections, Punjab has got some relief. Will other opposition-ruled states also reduce VAT?
