The special investigation team from NCB headquarters reached Mumbai on Saturday to take over six cases that were earlier being supervised by NCB Mumbai unit's zonal director Sameer Wankhede.

The six cases include the Mumbai cruise drugs case in which Aryan Khan was arrested as well as the cases pertaining to actor Armaan Kohli and Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik's son-in-law Sameer Khan.

The SIT is headed by IPS officer Sanjay Singh.
