In western UP's #Shamli district, #farmers continue to burn stubble despite fines being imposed by the administration.

While the state agriculture department claims that it has distributed 'decomposer solution' free of cost to 10,000 farmers, not a single farmer was aware of such initiatives in the three villages visited by Newslaundry.
