On October 29, Tennis star Leander Paes, actor Nafisa Ali and Mrinalini Deshprabhu joined the Trinamool Congress ahead of the 2022 assembly polls. They joined in the presence of West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee.
