NCB Mumbai zonal director Sameer Wankhede has moved the Bombay High Court seeking a CBI investigation into the extortion allegations against him. In a petition filed before the court, the NCB officer has sought relief in the extortion probe saying that if any investigation needs to be done, it should be done by CBI. This is against the probe launched against him by the Mumbai Police. Wankhede is also seeking interim protection.
