Bullets before Ballots: BSP and SP supporters engaged in a shootout in Mahoba

A clash between Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party supporters turned violent at around 3 am near Bajaraiya police station in Mahoba district, hours before the fourth phase polling in UP began. Four people were injured, including Saket Sahu, son of Mahoba assembly SP candidate Siddhgopal Sahu. Independent candidate Rakesh Singh, a nephew of the BSP candidate Arimardan Singh received head injuries and died on February 26.
