The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a 'yellow warning' for Odisha coast predicting heavy to very heavy rainfall due to the impact of cyclone ‘Fani’ which has turned into an "extremely severe cyclonic" storm, officials said on Tuesday night. It is expected to hit Odisha coast by May 3 afternoon. It may affect West Bengal as well as Srikakulam and Vizianagaram districts of Andhra Pradesh.
