Srinagar will go to polls on April 18. In 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Srinagar recorded a polling percentage of 25.86% and PDP’s Tariq Hameed Karra won, defeating Farooq Abdullah of the National Conference. However, Karra defected to the Congress in 2017 forcing a by-poll which Abdullah won.
