Vegetable prices soar in Delhi amid surge in fuel prices

Following the spike in fuel prices, prices of vegetables in Delhi soared on October 25. “Petrol, diesel prices have increased transportation charges, so have rain. There is less supply in the market. The onion price is between Rs 35-40/kg. Tomatoes between Rs 40-50/kg,” said a vendor.
