Gen. Guillermo Lorenzo Eleazar, chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP), ordered on Monday, Oct. 25, a thorough investigation into a grenade blast near a military detachment in Maguindanao on Saturday, particularly in the possibility that the attack was intended for Maguindanao Rep. Esmael “Toto” Mangudadatu.
