The Delhi District Cricket Association (DDCA) has been in the news for all the wrong reasons of late. Be it their quarrel with then Delhi Ranji Captain & India opener Virendra Sehwag or the mismanagement accusations laid out by Gautam Gambhir on the association. So the 2018 DDCA elections come at a time when Delhi desperately needs an upliftment of sorts. A total of 112 people are eyeing 12 positions. India TV’s founder Rajat Sharma & former India cricketer Madan Lal are considered the favourites. But both have been accused of violating election norms as both continued to campaign after the last date of promotion. But can no proxy voting lead to sanity in DDCA after this election?
