The Golden Temple lit up on the occasion of the Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Ramdas, the fourth Guru of the Sikhs. Devotees had reached the Golden Temple to celebrate the occasion with fireworks. He paid homage by lighting a lamp on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Guru Ramdas Di. The teachings of Guru Ramdas ji were remembered through lights in the gurudwara. Please tell that Shri Ramdasji was the fourth Guru of the Sikhs. His birthday is also called Prakash Purab or Guru Purab.

सिखों के चौथे गुरु श्री गुरु रामदास (Sri Guru Ramdas) के प्रकाश पर्व (Parkash Purab) के अवसर पर स्वर्ण मंदिर (Golden Temple ) जगमगा उठा। इस अवसर को आतिशबाजी के साथ मनाने के लिए श्रद्धालु स्वर्ण मंदिर पहुंचे थे। उन्होंने गुरु रामदास दी के जन्मोत्सव के मौके पर दीप जलाकर नमन किया। गुरुद्वारे में रोशनी के जरिए गुरू रामदास जी की शिक्षाओं को याद किया गया. बता दें कि श्री रामदासजी सिखों के चौथे गुरु थे। उनके जन्मदिवस को प्रकाश पर्व या गुरुपर्व (Guru Purab)भी कहा जाता है।
