Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation a day after India achieved the major milestone of 100 crore vaccine doses. India’s ambitious vaccination programme kicked off in January and touched the 1 billion dose milestone on Thursday, after a period of nine months. PM Modi congratulated the medical fraternity, vaccine makers and the country’s 130 crore population of India for the major vaccination feat.
