India is a country where religious harmony and peaceful co-existence have prospered in its true spirit and have become the identity of its citizens. Examples of this harmonious bond are seen on a day to day basis in different regions of the country. One such example is from Godhra city of Gujarat where Muslim artisans have been making Dandiyas for Hindu festival of Navratri for years. Meanwhile, in Meerut city of Uttar Pradesh Muslim artisans have been making effigies of Demon King Raavana that are burnt on the Hindu festival of Dussehra.

भारत (India) एक ऐसा देश है जहां धार्मिक सद्भाव और शांतिपूर्ण सह-अस्तित्व (religious harmony and peaceful co-existence) अपनी वास्तविक भावना से समृद्ध हुआ है और अपने नागरिकों की पहचान बन गया है। आपसी भाईचारे और एकता की मिसाल (example of unity) पेश करने वाले उदाहरण सामने आते रहते हैं। ऐसा ही एक उदाहरण Gujrat के Godhra शहर का है जहां मुस्लिम कारीगर सालों से हिंदू त्योहार Navratri के लिए Dandiya बना रहे हैं। तो दूसरी ओर UP के meerut शहर में मुस्लिम कारीगर (Muslim artisans ) दशहरा के हिंदू त्योहार पर जलाए जाने वाले दानव राजा रावण के पुतले बना रहे हैं। इन कारीगरों का भी कहना है कि भेदभाव वाली कभी बात ही नहीं हुई। कभी ऐसा महसूस भी नहीं हुआ।
