Singhu lynching: Accused Sarabjit Singh remanded to 7-day police custody

Nihal Sardar Sarabjit Singh, the accused in the Singhu lynching case, has been remanded to 7 days in police custody.

Haryana Police had earlier sought 14 days’ remand, stating the accused would have to be taken to Punjab to identify the others involved in the murder case. Cops said the murder weapon is yet to be recovered.

Sarabjit mentioned 4 persons, whom the police will have to trace, in his disclosure statement.

Haryana Police will visit Gurdaspur and Chamkaur to nab the rest of the accused.
