In the final match of IPL 14, Chennai Super Kings defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 27 runs to win the IPL title for the fourth time. In Friday's match, Chennai Super Kings, batting first, put 192 runs on the board in 20 overs, in response to which Kolkata Knight Riders could score only 165 runs.Although this match was special for both the teams as this match was the final of IPL, but another thing that made this match the most special was the 300th match of Chennai captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni as captain in T20.

आईपीएल चौदह में हुए फाइनल मुकाबले में चेन्नई सुपर किंग्स ने कोलकाता नाईट राइडर्स को 27 रनों से हरा कर चौथी बार आईपीएल टाइटल अपने नाम किया। शुक्रवार हुए मुकाबले में चेन्नई सुपर किंग्स ने पहले बल्लेबाज़ी करते हुए 20 ओवर्स में 192 रन्स बोर्ड पर लगाए जिसके जवाब में कोलकाता नाईट राइडर्स सिर्फ 165 ही रन्स बना सकी। हालंकि ये मुकाबला दोनों टीमों के लिए खास था क्युकी ये मुकाबला आईपीएल का फाइनल था मगर इस मैच को एक और बात जो सबसे ख़ास बना गई वो था चेन्नई के कप्तान महेंद्र सिंह धोनी का टी20 में बतौर कप्तान 300वां मुकाबला।
