Nvidia ($NVDA@US) is struggling to complete an acquisition of British chip designer Arm. A European Commission filing from Wednesday shows that Nvidia is prepared to offer concessions to gain antitrust approval with the Commission setting a deadline of October 27th to approve or decline the deal. For its part, Nvidia says it will operate Arm as a neutral entity. Even so, others in the semiconductor industry worry this is part of Nvidia’s plan to consolidate power. Nvidia stock rose over 3 and a half percent after the announcement.
