मां दुर्गा की आराधना के विशेष नौ दिनों यानी नवरात्रि का आरंभ 07 अक्टूबर से होने जा रहा है. मान्यता है कि इन नौ दिनों में जो भी भक्त मां की सच्चे हृदय और भक्ति भाव से आराधना करते हैं मां दुर्गा उनके सारे कष्ट हर लेती हैं और उन्हें सुख-शांति एवं समृद्धि प्राप्त होती है. नवरात्रि के नौ दिनों में माता के नौ अलग-अलग स्वरूपों की पूजा की जाती है. नवरात्रि के पहले दिन घटस्थापना की जाती है. शारदीय नवरात्रि को मुख्य नवरात्रि माना जाता है.

Navratri, the special nine days of worship of Maa Durga, is going to start from October 07. It is believed that during these nine days, whoever worships the mother with true heart and devotion, Goddess Durga takes away all their troubles and they get happiness, peace and prosperity. During the nine days of Navratri, nine different forms of Mata are worshipped. Ghatasthapana is performed on the first day of Navratri. Shardiya Navratri is considered to be the main Navratri.
