After Uttar Pradesh Government denied permission to Rahul Gandhi for the LakhimpurKheri visit, Lucknow Police Commissioner DK Thakur said that he will urge the Congress leader to cancel his plans when he arrives at Lucknow airport.

“Administration of Lakhimpur and Sitapur urged us to stop him from coming in wake of a law and order situation,” said DK Thakur.
