The last rites of the three deceased farmers killed in the Lakhimpur Kheri incident have been performed, while the fourth deceased Gurvinder will be cremated today after the re-postmortem. Questioning the post-mortem report, the family refused to perform the last rites. The body has been brought home in the presence of top police officers. After discussion with farmer leader Rakesh Tikait, the family had agreed to conduct a post-mortem from a panel of doctors who came from Lucknow to Bahraich late in the night. The body of the deceased was brought from the Bahraich mortuary amidst heavy security in the night itself and now the last rites will be performed. Meanwhile, another video of the Lakhimpur incident has surfaced in which a person says that the car in front of us was thrashing the farmers.
