As the festival season approaches, final preparations for Durga Puja and Navratri are in full swing in Bhubaneswar.

Before the sale of idols, artists put finishing touches on them.

“As per the government guidelines, we have built idols of less than four feet. Earlier,the Durga idols used to sell at around Rs 30-50 thousand but due to the less size, the amount has been cut to Rs 10-15 thousand,” said Arun Kumar, an artisan.
