Chief Minister Shivraj further said that in the new excise policy, the government will make this provision so that no case will be registered for making and selling traditional liquor. Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that I do not support alcohol, but if tribals make or drink alcohol for the sake of tradition, then there is no harm in it.

मंगलवार को Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan ने नई आबकारी नीति का वादा किया है, दरअसल आदिवासी सम्मेलन के लिए मंगलवार को मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान Jhabua district पहुंचे थे. जहां आदिवासी सम्मेलन को संबोधित करते हुए शिवराज सिंह चौहान ने कहा अब आदिवासी Mahua and Tadi liquor की शराब बनाकर बेच सकेंगे और उन पर किसी तरह का मुकदमा दर्ज नहीं होगा. मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज ने आगे कहा कि नई आबकारी नीति में सरकार यह प्रावधान करेगी ताकि परंपरागत शराब बनाने और बेचने पर कोई मुकदमा दर्ज नहीं होगा. शिवराज सिंह चौहान ने कहा मैं शराब का समर्थन नहीं करता, लेकिन परंपरा के लिए अगर आदिवासी शराब बनाते या पीते हैं तो इसमें कोई बुराई नहीं है.
