Sungai Udang assemblyperson Idris Haron, a former Malacca chief minister from Umno, has claimed that the current Malacca state government has collapsed.

In a press conference held today, Idris together with three others, had announced their decision to withdraw support for Menteri Besar Sulaiman Md Ali.

"We also resigned (as state executive councillors), which means the state government is no more," Idris said during the press conference in Malacca.
