As several countries have introduced a booster Covid vaccine dose, experts at the India Today Healthgiri Awards 2021 discussed if a booster shot is required in India as well.

Dr. Naresh Trehan, Chairman Managing Director, Medanta, The Medicity, said, “There are two parts. First, adults and the elderly should get vaccinated. The second is to get kids vaccinated. That is the primary concern as of now."
