Tucker Carlson interviewed the attorney for Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller of the United States Marine Corps after he was thrown in jail last night for continuing to speak out against military leadership on the disaster that was the Afghanistan withdrawal.
This came after he was essentially fired, losing his position as Battalion Commander and his retirement which he’s accrued over his 17 years of service.
Tucker explains what happened and followed that with the interview of Scheller’s attorney, who confirms that Scheller is in jail right now but is in good spirits:
This truly is appalling. I get that the military must have obedience within the ranks, but they’ve already stripped him of his position and stolen his retirement. All he had left was his voice and they took that away from him too.
Think about it. Scheller served for 17 years as a United States Marine, giving all of himself to serve this country and his retirement is now completely gone. It’s as if all of his work, sweat and dedication for this country meant absolutely nothing because he dared question the decisions of the top military/political leadership, which led to a former ally becoming an enemy and Americans being left behind in a country now run by the worst of terrorist groups.
What’s even more amazing to me is that Scheller didn’t even question them in an inflammatory way. No, he was as respectful as he could be when calling for accountability among Austin, Milley, and McKenzie.
I just hope Scheller’s attorney gets a good judge and can reverse this absurd situation and quickly.
