Five activists of Bajrang Dal, a right-wing outfit have been arrested in an incident concerning moral policing in Karnataka. The members of the outfit were arrested for allegedly harassing a group of medical students. As per a report in The Indian Express, the incident took place on September 26 evening when six MBBS students were returning from Malpe beach. N Shashi Kumar, Mangaluru Police Commissioner told The Indian Express, the complainants stated that they were returning from a picnic and did not know who the attackers were.
