After the second wave of Corona subsided, schools from 9th to 12th have been reopened in many states of the country, so now icmr has once again lobbied to open primary schools as well.In a paper published in the Indian Journal of Medical Research, ICMR has recommended that schools in the country should avoid checking temperature of children, as its authenticity and importance is not very much. Instead, children should be tested for corona, so that the spread of the virus can be stopped.

Coronavirus की दूसरी लहर के कम होने के बाद देश के कई राज्यों में 9वीं से 12 वीं तक के स्कूलों को फिर से खोल दिया गया है, ऐसे में अब ICMR ने एक बार फिर से प्राथमिक स्कूलों को भी खोलने की पैरवी की है, इंडियन जर्नल ऑफ मेडिकल रिसर्च में प्रकाशित पेपर में ICMR ने इस बात की सिफारिश की है कि देश में स्कूल बच्चों का तापमान चेक करने से बचें, क्योंकि इसकी प्रमाणिकता और महत्व बहुत ज्यादा नहीं है. इसकी बजाय बच्चों का कोरोना जांच होना चाहिए, ताकि वायरस के प्रसार को रोका जा सके.
