Mahant death case: CBI takes over case from UP Police

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed an FIR in connection with the death of Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad chief Mahant Narendra Giri. Mahant Narendra Giri was found dead in his room at Baghambari Gaddi Math on Monday. A preliminary autopsy report has revealed that Narendra Giri died of asphyxia due to hanging.
