पहला है मैजर हार्ट अटैक, यह स्थिति तब आती है जब धमनी जो हार्ट की मांसपेशियों को ब्लड का सप्लाई करती है, उसमें 100 फीसदी तक की रुकावट आ जाए। इसके कारण मरीजों में गंभीर लक्षण दिख सकते हैं। वहीं, दूसरी कटैगरी में धमनियों में 100 फीसदी रुकावट नहीं होती है, इसमें करीब 70-80 फीसदी से कम धमनियां प्रभावित (Mini Heart Attack) होती हैं। इस स्थिति में मरीजों में गंभीर लक्षण नहीं दिखते हैं। इसमें हार्ट की मांसपेशियों को जितने ब्लड की आवश्यकता होती है, वह 20-30 फीसदी धमनियां सप्लाई कर रही होती हैं। जिससे उन्हें ज्यादा परेशानी महसूस नहीं होती है। इस स्थिति को ही मिनी हार्ट अटैक कहते हैं। साइलेंट हार्ट, मिनी हार्ट अटैक की ही कटैगरी होती है। इसमें आर्टरी 70 से 80 फीसदी तक प्रभावित होता है। डॉक्टर बताते हैं कि हार्ट अटैक में नॉर्मली चेस्ट पेन होता है। लेकिन मिनी हार्ट अटैक से ग्रसित कुछ मरीजों के चेस्ट में पेन नहीं होता है, जिसकी वजह से मरीज समझ नहीं पाते हैं कि उन्हें हार्ट अटैक हुआ है। मिनी हार्ट अटैक से ग्रसित मरीजों में हार्ट अटैक से थोड़ा हटकर लक्षण दिखने लगते हैं, जिसकी वजह से मरीज कंफ्यूज हो जाते हैं कि उन्हें हार्ट अटैक है या फिर कोई अन्य बीमारी।
