Several parts of Delhi-NCR received heavy rainfall in the morning on September 11. Incessant rain led to waterlogging and traffic snarls at various major junctions. Heavy traffic congestion witnessed at IIT gate in Delhi. Many commuters struggled to drive due to heavy waterlogging. As per India Meteorological Department (IMD), thunderstorms with moderate to heavy intensity rain in Delhi-NCR would occur during next 2 hours.
