Forty kilometres from the border with Pakistan, Sukhoi Su-30MKI fighter jets, transport aircraft of the Indian Air Force (IAF) landed on a national highway that doubles up as an emergency landing field. The IAF on Thursday carried out a demonstration on NH-925, at Gandhav Bhakasar section in Rajasthan’s Jalore, of how it would operate from the airstrip during a military emergency.
