Figures show spike in drowning deaths over the past 12 months

There's been a spike in drowning deaths over the past 12 months. Around 80 percent of those were men, with a marked rise in the number of young people losing their lives. Shane Daw from Surf Life Saving Australia says Covid measures have drawn more people to the water.
