Prime Minister Narendra Modi will host India’s Tokyo Paralympics Contingent on return, said Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur on September 05. “I express my heartfelt congratulations to both the medallists for winning gold and silver medals for us. I was looking at medal tally in 2016. There were only 19 Indian contingents. But today, we have won 19 medals in Paralympics. Our medal tally increased 5 times. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be hosting Paralympians just like he hosted Olympians,” said Sports Minister Thakur.
