India has so far been in a wait-and-watch situation regarding the situation in Afghanistan. On Tuesday, Indian Ambassador Deepak Mittal met Sher Mohammad Abbas Stankzai, the head of the Taliban's political office in Qatar's capital, Doha. Reacting to this Congress spokesperson Abhay Dubey said that the Modi government has kneeled in front of the Taliban. Also, he asked the government to clarify its take on the Taliban.
