The Supreme Court has directed to vaccinate mentally ill people living in mental health care institutions and hospitals. The court said that all the states and union territories have been asked to fix the time limit for vaccination of people living in mental health care homes. Apart from this, the court has also issued directions to submit the status report in this case by October 15.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट (Supreme Court) ने मेंटल हेल्थ केयर संस्थान (Mental Health Care) और अस्पतालों में रह रहे मानसिक रूप (mentally ill persons) से बीमार लोगों का टीकाकरण (Covid Vaccination) करने के निर्देश दिए हैं. कोर्ट ने कहा कि सभी राज्य व केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों को मानसिक स्वास्थ्य देखभाल घरों में रह रहे लोगों के टीकाकरण की समय सीमा तय करने के लिए कहा है. इसके अलावा कोर्ट ने इस मामले में 15 अक्टूबर तक स्थिति रिपोर्ट जमा कराने के भी निर्देश जारी किए हैं.
