The eviction ban enacted at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic has officially ended, sparking outrage amongst members of Congress alongside the entire country. Congress said they were blindsided by President Joe Biden’s refusal to extend the eviction ban, and one democratic lawmaker even protested outside the capital over the president’s inaction.
