After being summoned by the Enforcement Directorate in a case pertaining to alleged money laundering and coal smuggling in West Bengal, Trinamool Congress MP Abhishek Banerjee’s wife Rujira on Wednesday told the probe agency that she can’t appear in person as she is a mother. In a written response to the ED, Rujira hinted that she will skip the summons as she cannot travel on such short notice.
