Maharashtra BJP is protesting at various places in the state demanding to open the temple on Janmashtami. BJP leader Sudhir Mungantiwar reached Bablunath temple in Mumbai, police detained him. Many BJP leaders were stopped from coming out in Mumbai, BJP workers stopped in Kandivali. Due to the BJP protest, security arrangements have been made outside the Siddhivinayak temple.
