Crowds of desperate Afghans continued to gather outside of Kabul's airport in the hopes of evacuation on Wednesday (Aug 25), some standing in knee-deep water amid trash and near barbed wire, as aid agencies warned of a looming humanitarian crisis for the population left behind.
