Union minister Narayan Rane was arrested and later granted bail over his controversial remarks against Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray on Tuesday.
Narayan Rane was taking part in the BJP's Jan Ashirwad rally in the Konkan region on Tuesday at the time of his arrest. He was then taken to Sangameshwar police station in Ratnagiri and handed over to Raigad police before being presented before the magistrate's court in Mahad sometime before midnight.
