This is the dramatic moment fans stormed the pitch at a Nice vs Marseille football game after a bottle launched at one of the players was thrown back into the stands.

Marseille's Dimitri Payet was hit in the back by a bottle thrown from the home supporters during a corner kick.

Payet launched it back, prompting fans to storm the pitch as security and players struggled to contain the escalating issue.

After a long delay, Nice players came out to finish the game but Marseille players refused to.

The game was abandoned as a result with Nice leading 1-0.
