Pakistan wicket-keeper batsman Umar Akmal has been given permission to play again by the Pakistan Cricket Board. Umar Akmal was accused of corruption, due to which the PCB found him guilty and banned him for 3 years. Akmal went against all these allegations and appealed in the Arbitration Court and demanded reduction of the ban period. The decision came in his favor and the ban was for eighteen months. Now he has completed his sentence and now he can play club cricket.

पाकिस्तान के विकेट कीपर बल्लेबाज़ उमर अकमल को पाकिस्तान क्रिकेट बोर्ड ने फिर से खेलने की अनुमति दे दी है। उमर अकमल के उपर भ्रष्टाचार के आरोप लगे थे जिसके चलते उन्हें PCB ने दोषी पा कर उन पर 3 साल का प्रतिबन्ध लगा दिया था। अकमल ने इन सभी आरोपों के खिलाफ जा कर आर्बिट्रेशन कोर्ट में अपील करते हुए बैन की अवधि कम करने की मांग की। इस पर फैसला उनका पक्ष में आया और बैन अठारह महीने का हो गया। अब उन्होंने अपनी सज़ा को पूरा कर लिया है और अब वो क्लब क्रिकेट खेल सकते है।
