Selangor ruler Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah expressed his disappointment over the reports on several state government officers and political leaders being involved in corrupt practices despite his warnings.
In his speech at the opening of the Selangor state assembly sitting today he reminded everyone once again that he did not want to hear a single report on the involvement of any government official or political leader in Selangor being involved corrupt activities.
He also called on the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to conduct a thorough investigation into cases and said that heavy punishments should be given to convey the message to reject corruption.
