The Delhi unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party staged a protest near the Pakistan High Commission against the vandalization of the Maharaja Ranjit Singh statue. The statue of 19th-century Sikh ruler Maharaja Ranjit Singh at the Lahore Fort in Pakistan was vandalized on Tuesday. It is the third time that the statue has been vandalized since 2019. The accused has been identified as one Rizwan, who is an activist of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP), a far-right party in Pakistan that was outlawed by the Imran Khan government earlier this year. Rizwan has been arrested by the police. Watch this episode.
